Of those who approve photography, we take photos and videos throughout the day and send these into a Whatsapp group for parents to see at the end of each day – this is the only way to receive these photos as it would take too much unpaid time to do this separately.

As part of the Skydance NI Kids Camp, children aged 6 to 16 will engage in a diverse range of activities including Aerial Hoop, Aerial Sling, Dance, Hula Hooping, Games, Arts and Crafts, Balloon Modelling, and Glitter Tattoos (applied with body glue). Each activity is delivered by an experienced and certified instructor, with a strong focus on fun, creativity, physical development, and – above all – safety.

Aerial fitness sessions are designed to improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. These sessions include a full warm-up, a recap of previously learned skills, the introduction of new aerial moves, and practice of routines or combinations. Sessions end with a cool-down and stretching, with a focus on improving flexibility and preventing injury.

All aerial equipment set at a low height, with crash mats in place at all times. They will be learning Aerial Hoop and/or Aerial Sling. Spotting (physical support) may be used to assist participants safely through movements; if your child is not comfortable with physical contact, please inform us in advance.

Please be aware that, as with any physical activity, there is an inherent risk involved in aerial fitness. Participants may experience bruising, friction burns, or muscle soreness while adapting to the equipment and movements. These risks are minimised through  wearing appropriate clothing, correct instruction, supervision, and conditioning over time. If your child experiences any pain or discomfort during a session, they should stop immediately and inform the instructor.

We ask parents/guardians to notify us in advance of any injuries, medical conditions, illnesses, behavioural or learning needs, or other circumstances that may impact your child’s participation or safety. All information shared will be treated as confidential and managed in accordance with current data protection legislation.

Other activities offered at camp include balloon modelling and glitter tattoos using cosmetic glue. These products are widely used in children’s events; however, we are aware that some children may have allergies or sensitivities to substances such as latex (commonly used in balloons) or adhesives. Please indicate clearly on the registration form if your child has any known allergies or skin sensitivities, and notify staff if you would prefer them not to participate in these activities.

By ticking the box below, and typing your name to sign this consent form, you confirm that you understand the nature of the activities and agree for your child to participate fully in the Skydance NI Kids Camp. You acknowledge the safety measures in place and accept responsibility for informing staff of any relevant health, medical, or safeguarding concerns.
